In the placement of corporate leaders, there’s a lot at stake for the organisation and the individual. Beyond the job description, experience has shown us that cultural and emotional sync with client organisations plays a huge part in the role and results that can be produced thereby.

~ Abhay Phadnis

Abhay’s experience emanates from his tenure as HR head, TCS Software Research Centre, Pune; and thereafter in the same position at TranSys Technologies’ India and US operations. Handling senior management roles like Head of Web Portals, Head of HR Consulting Group, and Head - Technology in Ma Foi Management Consultants, were part of Abhay’s achievements, in addition to consulting assignments in India, the Middle East, South-East Asia and Sri Lanka.

As an Executive Coach, Abhay specialises in Assessment & Development Centres, Performance Management Systems, HR Automation, Organisational Vision & HR Strategy.

Abhay is a post graduate and gold medallist from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and has a range of certifications in psychometric tools and assessment. His professional certifications include MBTI, Workplace Big 5, FIRO-B, CPI-260 and EUM.

Abhay unwinds by listening to Hindustani classical music, reading Urdu poetry, and solving cryptic crosswords.

If you’ve heard of ‘Corporate Theatre,’ the name Paul Mathew would have been tagged closely alongside. Beyond his 20-year corporate experience and short service army commission tenure, Paul launched ‘Corporate Theatre’ in the year 2002.

Chair, Professor of Management & Innovation and Inaugural Faculty Fellow, New School, NYC; and Editor-in-Chief of the Society of Advancement of Management’s scholarly journal, are just two of Dr. Latha Poonamallee’s key achievements.

Dr. Poonamallee is Co-founder and Chairperson of In-Med Prognostics, a health-tech firm that brings affordable, accessible, and reliable predictive analytics for brain health to emerging markets.

She received a Fulbright Fellowship to work with the Botswana Civil Society, Botswana Government, US Embassy in Botswana, USAID,and private sector in Botswana to develop a social entrepreneurship ecosystem and leadership capacity building forcivil society.

Dr. Poonamallee’s scholarly work and consulting practice focusses on building organisational capacities towards a more just, sustainable and prosperous world. She has presented her award-winning research on change management, leadership, corporate social responsibility, and social entrepreneurship in numerous international journals and conferences.

Dr. Poonamallee is a Ph.D. in Organisational Behaviour from the Dept. of Organisational Behaviour, Case Western Reserve University, U.S.A.

~ Sujata Krishnan

As a behavioural psychologist, Sujata’s 27 plus years of teaching, research and consulting experience covers areas like psychometric testing and assessments, life skills coaching, leadership training, and counselling.

Sujata is a member of the Indian Science Congress and the Indian Psychological Association.

An MA and M Phil in Psychology with Applied Psychology and Organisational Behaviour as specialisations, Sujata won the Indian Science Congress’ ‘Young Scientist Award’. Her professional certifications include Hogan Certification, MBTI, TAT & 16 PF.

Beyond TATE, Sujata’ passions extend to badminton, participating in local marathons, singing in a local band and books.

Community welfare projects are an area of special interest for Sujata, where she has co-founded a community library, has mobilised resources for the underprivileged and is pursuing the education of under privileged children.

Not resting content with over two decades of deep experience in Executive Search and HR Services, Hastha launched TATE Leadership Consulting along with a team of like-minded associates. Bringing a distinctive approach to leadership hiring and consulting, Hastha’s vision provides the core inspiration to TATE.

Hastha’s global industry and consulting expertise was honed during her long Ma Foi tenure, as CEO - Executive Search, and on the Board. Beyond a 3-year stint in London, as Head, Europe Operations, Hastha front-ended the CorpComm, succession planning and professional staffing portfolios. Hastha was an Independent Director on the Board of Consolidated Construction Company Limited and has featured in the CII E Compendium of Women Achievers.

Hastha’s academic pursuits earned her a Bachelor's in English and Sociology, a Masters in English, and a Sr. Executive Program Diploma in Leadership & Strategy at Tias Nimbus Business School, in association with INSEAD.

Beyond business, Hastha believes that one’s societal contribution should transcend merely rendering assistance, to enabling and empowering families in a way that impacts future generations. As a Ma Foi Foundation trustee, Hastha works closely with the deserving via an integrated holistic approach to their education, health and livelihoods.

~ Viju Swaminathan

Viju’s quest for serious work in a fun environment led her to TATE. The conducive rather than competitive environment she found there, coupled with trust and bonhomie, provided what she was looking for without having to ask for it. Over 30 years of work experience in English language teaching, Human Resources & Training. Heading HR for two large businesses apart from playing a key role in the training business. That’s a brief summary of Viju’s capabilities.

At TATE, Viju’s mandates in Executive Assessment and Training cover courseware development, training delivery, and business development. Her achievement spectrum covers a range of training programs in language and communication skills, and leadership development across functions and businesses.

Viju’s consultative approach and vigorous benchmarking process, have enabled organisations align their talent and succession strategies with specific business goals.

Viju has a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, a degree in Education, and is a certified City & Guilds (UK) trainer.

As one with a ear for music Viju follows the Carnatic music scene closely but also has varied interests in classical dance and the age old art of embroidery. The world of books, however, is an all-time passion and she believes in Oscar Wilde’s words: If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all.

Sundar can talk about anything from toys to technology. He is greatly concerned about the environment and never leaves a stone unturned to conserve and protect natural resources. A cheerful disposition with a very positive attitude is what defines Nandhini as a person and a professional. Post a sabbatical of 6 years, Nandhini sought a workplace that will give her flexibility along with an opportunity to renew her passion for executive search. Commitment to work, a structured approach and the ability to lead a team to achievement makes her an excellent Search consultant. Nandhini thrives in an environment that is replete with energy and activity.

Nandhini has 18 years of experience in talent acquisition. She was with Ma Foi and then Randstad before she took a break from work. While at Ma Foi, Nandhini worked in UK for 6 months in search and staffing. She has worked on high value assignments across verticals.

A talented singer, Nandhini has been training in Carnatic music. She enjoys turning out gourmet dishes and her special skill lies in healthy desserts.
